An educational institution committed to academic excellence, holistic student development, and strong community ties. Founded in 1952, we are a school of choice in Jamaica, where students are motivated, inspired, and guided with discipline and care.
Mocho Primary & Infant School is a Grade II institution established on September the 1st, 1952. The Infant Department was added in 1971. We serve children from 3 years and 8 months to 13 years old (Infant to Grade 6).
We currently support over 312 students with an academic team of 12 teachers, one guidance counsellor, and are led by Principal Tina Reid-Green.
Our students come from various communities including Dawkins, Bowens Gate, Thompson Town, Victoria, Foga, Belmont, and more.
We are supported by an active and engaged community, including a strong PTA that believes in our mission and vision.
